1. I already have half of knowledge they provide.
2. I have no money for pay the bills.
3. I should make money, and I know that universities will not bring me money.
4. I shouldn’t cling to the past, when I wanted to be educated in American ways and etc.

That’s all, they’re good reasons for going to make future than trying to fulfill dreams of past, I’m changing every day, and I shouldn’t hinder this process, instead, I will make myself better in every possible ways, and study only that knowledge, what I need to make myself better in mood, in financial state, or whatever it is, but not for indulging in the past.

So I will not hear about it any more, it’s closed theme!

New Habits #1

I should pray, attend the Mosque and be consistent.

Tomorrow, I will start praying.
In timely manner and whatever it takes. Also tomorrow I will start attending the Mosque every day for performing my morning and evening prayer.

This habit will bring me such advantages as fulfilling the obligation of religion, control over my body, overcoming the fear, frequently meeting with strong people who came for morning prayer having beaten their want for the sleep, positive mood and discipline for the rest if my life.

The habit can be considered as created when I will count my days to 70 as it is the time that have been mentioned as needed for habits to be created..

The counter increments if:
1. Be in my home city by the time of morning and evening prayer.
2. Perform five obligatory prayers every day and for morning and evening prayers attend the Mosque.

If I am in my home city but have not completed second item, then the counter going to reset.
If I will complete the challenge, then my conscience will be cleaner, my will – stronger, my mood – positive, health – better and I will be disciplined.

Essay #3

Some people feel that certain workers like nurses, doctors and teachers are undervalued
and should be paid more, especially when other people like film actors or company bosses
are paid huge sums of money that are out of proportion to the importance of the work that
they do.
-How far do you agree?
-What criteria should be used to decide how much people are paid?
Write at least 250 words.

rev 2.0 edited by Lilly

I think that we should look more deeply into the juncture. The question should not be why it is that nurses, teachers and doctors get lower salaries, but why do famous people in the media industry or bosses of companies get higher wages than others.

The media industry is built on customers’ affection, which means that whatever sums of money are involved in this business come from the people who pay for being entertained and enjoying themselves, not from government institutions. Considering this, I have come to the conclusion that businesses in the media industry have complete authority to pay whatever sums they like to their employees.

Similarly, I believe company bosses may be paid any sum, for if they are satisfied with their salaries they are likely to work better and in turn will make their company more successful. Also, the company money is theirs to spend in whichever way they deem right, as we live in a capitalist country.

When talking about a certain criteria that we might use to judge how much an individual should be paid, I think we need to remember about democracy, for it says that we are free to choose our destiny and vocation, and that we also have the right to build private schools, private hospitals, private nurseries and set whatever wages that we deem correct. Furthermore, we can find a place for ourselves in other institutions, like the aforementioned ones, and require any wages that we want.

On the other hand, people are often unskilled even in the domain of their profession, for they seldom continue to study after signing up for a job. In this situation, when they do request salary increases but have nothing to distinguish them from the masses, they just cannot stand the competition among those who knows a little bit more about their profession, or at least have something in them that made them do more than others. I think that this is the criteria – the professionalism and relevance of employees, and that it is the greater relevance of an individual that will bring them to a higher salary, as that is how it works in capitalist countries and I think it is fair enough.

All in all, I think that if a professional does his job better than others, he has all chances possible to get more money than others, and instead of comparing salaries he should work on his personality and mastering his skills so that he can be distinguished from others and be in greater demand, thus earning the right to a higher salary.

Essay #2

Many newspapers and magazines feature stories about the private lives of famous people.
We know what they eat, where they buy their clothes and who they love.
We also often see pictures of them in private situations.
Is it appropriate for a magazine or newspaper
to give this kind of private information about people?
Give reasons for your answer.
Write at least 250 words.

rev. 2.0 edited by Hellena

In my opinion, publication of various details about private life of whoever it is without their permission is not appropriate by any means. Unfortunately, media industry hasn’t built on principles of morality, yet most of the people buy newspapers and magazines hoping to find something interesting and exciting rather than useful and beneficial. This pushes the editors of newspapers and magazines to print as much shocking and exciting information as they are able to print, moreover frequently they even don’t bother themselves with its verification.

More so, many of the famous people don’t mind being on front pages of  newspapers or magazines, this is explained by the fact that most of them like, actors, comedians, singers, politicians and sportsmen are in businesses that require an audience and their wages directly depends on it’s capacity, it means that such people tolerate  ignorance for they know that mostly shocking news about their private life increases curiosity and following disputes among the people which in turn increases the potential number of audience as well as the famous person’s wages.
And from my point of view, people shouldn’t have such abnormal curiosity to private the life of others. This concerns  publishers and their customers because of some disputes about admissibility of private life on the pages of magazines, newspapers since such type of information has no value for social and political situation seems extremely unacceptable.
In a nut shell, we only  hope that magazines and media in general will start writing important information and people will cease peeping on other private lives and commence concentrating on themselves.

Essay #1

Machine translation (MT) is slower and less accurate than human translation and
there is no immediate or predictable likelihood of machines taking over this role from humans.
Do you agree or disagree?
Write at least 250 words.

rev. 2.0 edited by Lilly

It is true, that an educated man or women can translate speech from any source better than a machine. But, it doesn’t mean that machines can’t do the job and become better at it.

The main reason that makes human translation currently the most accurate is uneven quantity of knowledge available to human and machine which whom translation is performed.

An typical man or women has much more information about the way in which languages are used. They also know what sentences can be used in particular situations whereas machines usually know nothing about the circumstances under which the translation is going to occur. This, alongside the fact that an typical man or women knows much more about writing patterns and local slang, makes human translation more accurate.

However, nowadays we see that global positioning systems such as GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou have frequently been preintegrated into a variety of devices that we use in our everyday routines. This technologies can be used by client software on the devices to advice its owner what they can do in a particular position, i.e. with the right software and sufficient information about the habits and lifestyle of device owners, they would be able to predict in which circumstances the translation is going to occur.

So, if the computers will know where we are, and what we intend to do, then, surely the day will come when there will be no difference between human and machine translation. This is because the problem of uneven magnitude of knowledge can be comparatively easily solved by cloud technologies, able to create large web services with all manner of patterns and cases which also would be available by client software.

Goal determination

I wanted to start this blog, as something that will help me make money, I should remind it to myself from time-to-time, otherwise I would forget this and nothing in my life will change…

Improvement of spirit and life-experience increase calls for the independence, and independence in the social life calls for the money – this is the formula.

So my first priority is to make money, much money, and make myself free from social and government systems.

Let’s not forget what we do and why we do what we do.

The first day of free life.

Welcome to my diary.

I’m twenty-six ex-engineer of telecommunications field trying to become an exclusive person and professional Java programmer.

I have been working as an engineer for five last years until yesterday when I eventually decided to resign.

I never liked this work, haven’t had any interest in my specialization, had studied before that for uninteresting things in university after having graduation from a boring school, to be concise, I never have been engaged into something that I wanted to do and now, finally I decided to change it.

“We’re all going to die” – said one wise man, this words made me think a lot of my life and the way I live. What type of life is really worth a death anyway? I mean, what life it should be that we live, so we can die in peace, knowing that we done something good, that our life wasn’t worthless?

I thought about these things really hard, many years. Eventually, I came to belief that life is about self-improving, about experience of soul in the material world, and if it is so, the best type of life it is that, when you spend your time improving your spirit and will – intangible, immortal items of our personalities and experiencing as much as you can, becoming more and more conscious about yourself and about all the other world in which you found yourself.

So, we have. my major purpose in life consists of:
1. Improvement of spirit
2. Increasing of life-experience

And these calls for one ultimate condition – Personal Independence, without which, you cannot do any difference. Independence is very sophisticated thing that will not easily be granted to you, you need to win it in a fierce battle, and I’m going to war against the world, and against myself, and I will not give up no matter what.

This diary is the journal where I want to reflect my progress in achieving aforementioned goals.
